I'm Jessi.
Wife to Thomas. Mom to Morgan (he's autistic) and Bailey (he's a ginger, I call him Bay), and our dog, Roxy, and our shady cats, DC and Smudger.
Oh, and I'm autistic, too. At least, that's what people tell me.
I believe that autism isn't a death sentence, it just is. If you're looking for someone to hold your hand as you skip along the yellow brick road of cures, I'm not your lady.
I'm not a curbie. My son is great, and I am, too, thanks!
I have a positive attitude toward autism and presume competence as much as possible. However, I'm human. I fail, a lot. When I do, I pick myself up and shake it off. Most of the time.
I write what I feel and some aren't going to like that. That's okay. If you don't like what I say, please feel free to drop me a comment here or on my Facebook page.
Sometimes, I write things which aren't related to autism in any way except that they have happened to me or they pique my interest. If you don't like it- move along. My blog, my business.

If I'm your shot of espresso, hang out a while. Come check out my Instagram feed, too. My cats seem to have more of an audience than my kids.
I hope you enjoy the mess that is my brain. Welcome!

Jessi,
ReplyDeleteYou rock. I enjoy your candor. This was a very entertaining read and I will be back for more! Following you on Blogger.
I do not have any experience with Autism, but I love to read about other moms.
Thank you for this. Take care. -Rebecca
